We solemnly recall the attacks of September 11th. Eleven years later this senseless act of violence is still deeply etched in the consciousness of New York and throughout the world, and as we continue to rebuild and to heal, we must never forget...
We recall the thousands of lives lost on that tragic day eleven short years ago and pay homage to those who selflessly made the supreme sacrifice so others could live. The heroism of New York's Firefighters, Police, and the innumerable public servants and citizens here at home, in Washington DC, in Pennsylvania, and aboard those tragic flights are forever etched into the fabric of our being.
We continue to pray for those who struggle to survive or have succumbed to the disease of Cancer that their unflinching exposure during the recovery efforts has indelibly scarred them with.
