Secrets Cap Cana 2025

We are spending an amazing week at Secrets Cap Cana, a top-rated Adults Only All Inclusive resort in Punta Cana.  A magnificent 1270 sq. foot Preferred Club Master Suite Swim-Out is ours for the week, and with accommodations like this, it is very tempting to never leave the room!  We are in #7105 on the corner adjacent the main pool, so the bar and entertainment are ours to enjoy from our spacious patio.  Honeymooners wanting more privacy may request accommodations in buildings 13 or 14 which are also Oceanfront but more private.

We reserved a Bunalow Swim-Out Pool View and after a minor snafu with our first room we were upgraded to this palatial room.  Guests want for nothing in these accommodations!  We enter into a large hall with guest bathroom, wall to wall bar with coffee and beverages, center island dining table and chairs.  There is a huge living room with sofa and TV, and floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors for patio / pool access.

A separate bedroom is accessible from two of their iconic sliding wooden slatted doors.  A huge and very comfortable bed, hidden pedestal TV and two more patio doors comprise the suite's master bedroom.  The bathroom is also enormous, furnished with two closets, a center soaking tub, his and hers sinks, a dual-rainhead shower that is just sublime, and a second restroom.

The icing on the cake in this palatial room is the huge wrap-around balcony!  The Master Suites are corner rooms, appointed with a private dining table and four chairs and a huge settee that makes a great place for an evening read or to listen to the poolside entertainment.  Around the corner from this private nook is a double-patio with direct access to an infinity pool facing a gorgeous white sand beach.  The bartenders approach every 30 minutes or so, and you really do not ever have to leave this magnificent room to have an extraordinary vacation!

Last night's Karaoke "featured" some very overserved newlyweds attempting Bohemian Rhapsody.  The scales in that song are such that it really should be reserved for professionals.  Fortunaltely for us, Secrets Queen show is truly excellent and has redeemed one of my favorite songs!

Our Butler, Enrique, is a prince and he anticipates our every need.  Palapas for two dot both sides of the expansive beach and waiters and Butlers provide direct service, spoiling guests in this serene and stunning environment.

We found all the restaurants to be extraordinary for an AI.  The steak was overcooked at the Teppenyaki as they did not ask in advance how any of us wanted it done, and that really ruined the meal, however this was the only dinner we thought less than stellar.  Rosewater, the Premier Club's private restaurant (breakfast and lunch through 5pm) was amazing, as was Portofino, Bordeaux and the Seaside Grille.  Cannot comment on the Mexican and Seafood restaurants as they are not our thing, but others raved about them both.  The Market buffet was a staple for lunch, and the food is left out in small portions to enable constant turnover, ensuring everything is fresh.  The dessert bar alone is worth the price of admission!
