Gibraltar

After three days at sea due to the unexpected cancellation of La Coruna as a result of severe weather, we finally alight on land in the tiny nation of Gibraltar.

A 5-minute shuttle ride brings us directly into Casement Square, and we spend a lovely day strolling and shopping the high street.

It is remarkable to see such a diverse culture here – Muslims, Sephardic Jews and Christians all blend together to form the local culture here.  This is reflected in shopping and dining options, which range from British Pub food to Indian crystals and talismans to French Boutiques.  I scored a few really nice blouses which will serve me well now while onboard, as well as later upon my return to work.
